Nothing on this page scans a repository. There is no upload, no sample finding, and no download.
Proposed purpose
Secret Sentry would look through repositories, logs, and process environments for leaked credentials. The idea grows out of a secrets check associated with Watchdog. Watchdog remains an Ultrec AI Inc project and is not a Center product.
Proposed behavior
- Point only at repositories, logs, and environments the owner already controls.
- Report a suspected leaked credential in plain language.
- Leave rotation, revocation, and any file change to the owner.
Limits
It would not send a secret it found to this website. A clear report would not mean a system is safe.
